Driveway cleaning service in Watnall, Nottingham

This week we have carried out a driveway clean in Watnall, nottingham. This driveway has not been cleaned for around 15 years! Our customer wanted this driveway clean due to selling the property and wanted to ensure maximum value and curbside appeal.

Our driveway cleaning method.

To ensure the best result for this driveway clean, we had to inspect the area assessing what needed cleaning, the drainage and health and safety assessment for our staff.

We began this driveway clean by removing the heavy growth and debris from the driveway to reduce the mess when we use the pressure washer. We did this by using a scraper and a brushing method.
Once we have finished tidying the area and clearing the debris in preparation for this driveway clean, we unloaded and set up the pressure washer.

On this particular job we began with our FSC (flat surface cleaner), which we used to clean the main area of the driveway as it will always deep clean the area with minimal mess.

We then had to clean the edge of the driveway that the FSC could not reach this was cleaned with a lance with our Turbo nozzle fitted. The turbo nozzle is a very high powered attachment that will deep clean the blocked pave driveway where the FSC could not reach.

Once all the area had been cleaned, we had to wash down all the dirt that is still sitting on top of the surface of the driveway, we used our pressure washer for this part.
 
When we had finished cleaning the block paved driveway, we soft washed the surface to remove all the black spots also known as lichens that are left behind which pressure washing alone will not remove. We use this method to ensure the driveway is as clean as possible and keeps cleaner for longer!

We used a specialist low pressure chemical pump to apply a product to break down the lichens left on the driveway, once applied we allowed an adequate dwell time.
We then used our low pressure high flow rate pump to rinse down all the dirt and debris from the driveway.

Once we were happy with the driveway and the finished result, we needed to ensure that the surrounding area was cleaned down and back to its original state after our driveway clean. We cleaned down windows and doors, surrounding walls and fences so there is nothing left for our customer to clean up!
